Progress!
The Greenburgh Police Department is currently working on a special Enforcement Team to deal with Quality of Life issues, such as the shopping carts, illegal housing etc. This team will hopefully serve to bring an end to the shopping cart issue among others.
First I would like to introduce myself, my name is Rob Hevern and I am a senior at Irvington High School. I am interning with Town Supervisor Paul Feiner and we decided that A Cleaner Greener Greenburgh would be an excellent project to start. The project is designed to lay down the framework necessary for future generations to keep Greenburgh clean. Many of you, I am sure, have seen the debris on the sides of the roads, as well as trash strewn about all throughout the town. This does not have to be. It is my sincere hope that with a little help we can maintain a command over garbage problem disfiguring our streets.
The DPW website can be found here...
The Website has a comprehensive list of the people in charge, and their phone numbers. It also has a link on the left side of the page where you can submit a complaint to be reviewed by their staff.

He is responsible for inspections.
The information number for the Greenburgh Building Department is 1-914-993-1561. Contact this number if you see an area in particular need of revamping. This is primarily for residential properties.
